What I Ate Last Week

Last week I ate/cooked the following:

(Sunday through Saturday)

Breakfast

  1. Hot Bulgur Cereal with Strawberries from Popsugar’s Jumpstart Meal Plan
  2. Pancakes with Bananas and Quinoa a modified recipe from Ruth Reichl’s My Kitchen Year Quinoa Banana Pancake - 1
  3. Rice Crispy Cereal with milk

Dinner/Lunch

  1. Turkey Open Faced Sandwiches from Two Peas and Their Pod
  2. Turkey Pot Pie From Cooking Classy IMG_1528
  3. Butternut Squash Puree from my Thanksgiving Cookbook
  4. Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese from The Wicked Noodle IMG_1544

Snack Ideas/Dessert

  1. Rice Krispy Treats

Overall: This past week we finished up the leftovers. I really enjoyed the pot pie recipe from last week more than the one from this week. Also the mac and cheese was just what I needed this week as it finally has started to get cold. I have enjoyed playing with my pie decorations and am looking forward to more pie and interesting designs.  I am looking forward to eating more comforting food as the weather is cool and I am making mostly tried and true recipe’s this upcoming week so that is exciting and delicious.
